Juanita Lino Medina

Juanita was born on February 8, 1925 in Honolulu, Hawaii. At the age of 4, she migrated to the Philippines and met her loving husband, Paulo Medina. In 1971, she came to the United States. Mama was blessed with a joyous life. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and raising her family.

Approximately 10 years ago, Mama began having early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. Throughout the years, it progressed. She was an extremely brave and strong woman who fought as hard as she could. On July 24, 2010, her fight ended peacefully with her family by her side.
